Problem and Purpose Statment



The main issue in public buses is overcrowding and that also leads to long waiting times. Despite the campaigns and increased bus frequency, many commuters are still unable to board during peak hours and bus bunching still occurs.

This proposal aims to make public buses more accessible to commuters. The proposed solutions focus on allowing buses to fully utilise its capacity, as well as reducing the boarding and alighting time taken at each bus stop.
